A time for something new!

A lot has happened in the past three and a half years. I have officially retired. T has had a major shift in his career, moving from the field to management. T and I (and one boomerang child) have moved from our small city to a hamlet of less than 50 people. We have downsized to a 1000 square foot bungalow. We are doing a complete renovation on this 1958 home. We are preparing for T's retirement and our potential escape from the frigid winters we have here in Alberta.

This will be a year of preparation as we expect even more changes in 2025. We welcome you to follow our journey! 

2020

This year I turned Fifty!

This year I lost my job due to Covid-19!

This year I realized there is a bunch of stuff that I should have known by now!

This year I have been able to spend some time getting my life together!

I have spent this time deep cleaning the house, organizing our things, landscaping our yard, discovering new recipes, camping near the mountains, playing games with my family, and reflecting on how blessed I am.  On this blog, I share my experiences, thoughts, opinions, and links related to anything I find interesting. I invite all visitors to read my words, enjoy my photos, try my recipes, test my hacks, post comments and share your thoughts.
